The Stefano Farina wines stem from centuries of traditional viticulture, where affinity to the land and careful and patient nurturing of the grapes have harmoniously blended to produce excellent and exciting wines. The reds are vigorous and lively; the whites delicate, crisp and fragrant. At every stage, commencing with the choice of terrain, to the final bottling, the Stefano Farina tradition combines expertise with modern technology. However, tradition and technology alone cannot produce great wines. A passionate commitment to achieving excellence is the vital ingredient on which the Stefano Farina name is based.
Today, the activity continues, thanks to Stefano’s grandchildren, and the business can boast a number of wine cellars and vineyards in the most prestigious areas of wine production: Piedmont, Tuscany and Puglia. The headquarters and commercial offices are located in the modern site of Albavilla, near Como. The bottled wine is carefully packaged and stored at an ideal and constant temperature directly at production sites, although most shipments are organized out of Albavilla.
