TESCH has shown that an old winery can be very successful. The offer is small, taut and clear. All TESCH wines are distinctive and dry. Only three different grape varieties are grown: Riesling, Late and Weissburgunder. All bottles are equipped with practical rotary locks. And the design has caused a sensation. Environmentally friendly winegrowing, the most elaborate care of the vineyards and harvesting the grapes for the winery wines by hand are a matter of course for TESCH. The basis is the 1 liter class with one red wine and two white wines. These gourmets, who are very popular, give a first impression of the work of the winery.
Very well known are the concept wines of TESCH. “Riesling Unplugged”, a wine against the technology and sweetening of the Riesling, has developed into a classic. “Deep Blue”, a complex white wine from the late-late-20th century, has also reached cult status. Usually only in summer is the popular Spätburgunder Rosé offered.
At the top of the collection are the Rieslings from the individual plants. The best wines are brightly colored. Each color stands for another floor. No other varietal makes the soil as good in the wine as the Riesling. The red-brown of the Carthaginians points to the red ground, the orange of the St. Remigius mountain on its volcanic origin. The lush green of the Löhrer mountain stands for the fertile moisture in this position, while the bright sun-yellow is a color indication of the dryness in the crown. This dazzling series of character Rieslings is rounded off with the blue Königsschild. Just as different as the floors are the wines. And it is a pleasure to taste these differences
