For the 2017 Vin de France le Creation Usseglio combined Grenache from Châteauneuf du Pape and Lirac, maturing the wines in terracotta. The result is a full-bodied wine with oodles of mixed cherry and blueberry fruit. It's silky and long, a pure delight to drink for its sheer deliciousness and hedonism. Like the other limited-edition wines from Usseglio, only 3,000 bottles were produced. 96 POINTS WINE ADVOCATE March 2021
STORM WILD AIR SAUVIGNON BLANC Made by Hannes Storm, with fruit from the Ignis vineyard where he sources his Pinot Noir. 25-year-old vines. Basket press, native yeast, old oak. A four-month fermentation. Some barrels went through malo.
Deep greenish gold. Exotic, broad, rather tropical nose. And then very fresh. The most oak-marked of these three Sauvignon projects in collaboration with Ben Henshaw. Best with food, I would have thought. For now, it seems very slightly low in acidity though it may well gain complexity.. 93 POINTS TIM ATKIN

POGGIO AL SOLE GRAN SELEZIONE CHIANTI CLASSICO 2015 This wine gushes with aromas of black and red fruits, mint, chalk, dried herbs and the vanilla and spice of high quality oak, which lead on to a full-bodied, yet velvety, palate with finely detailed tannins. It really pulsates with its energy, mesmerising your palate as it swoops by, culminating in a long and elegant finish. Score - 97. (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2019) Get It Now! $59.00
